Hydrogen sensor system for automotive applications for monitoring exhaust gases up to 10 vol.-% H2 of fuel cell powered vehicles.

The hydrogen measuring system can measure hydrogen very fast and precise in air as well as in oxygen-depleted air. It can be used, for example, in cathode exhaust air monitoring. The measured values are transmitted temperature-, pressure- and humidity compensated via CAN bus.

Most important properties:

  • H2 sensitivity: 0 - 10 vol.-% H2
  • Tolerance: ± 0.3 vol.-% H
  • Temperature measuring range: -40 to 90 °C
  • Pressure range: 60 - 120 kPa absolute, i.e. 650 - 1,200 mbar absolute
  • Humidity: 0 to 100 % r.h. (non-condensing)
  • Response time: t90 < 3 s
  • Recovery time: t10 < 3 s
  • Signal: CAN 2.0
  • Replacement for AMS HLS-440P and NEO982A
  • applicable for cathode exhaust air monitoring
