Hydrogen sensor system for automotive applications for monitoring up to 100 vol% H2 in oxygen-free/inert environment with temperature, pressure and air humidity compensated signal evaluation for automotive applications under extreme conditions.

The hydrogen measuring system works very quickly and precisely, e.g. in the anode gas of a fuel cell. The measured values are compensated for temperature, pressure and air humidity via the CAN bus.

Most important features:

  • H2 sensitivity: 0 - 100 vol.% H2 in N2/O2 -N2 mixture
  • Tolerance: < ± 2 vol% H2 
  • Temperature measuring range: -40 to 120 °C
  • Pressure range: up to 10 bar absolute
  • Humidity: 0 to 100 % r.h. (non-condensing)
  • Response time: t90 < 5 s
  • Recovery time: t10 < 5 s
  • Signal: CAN 2.0
  • Replacement for AMS HPS-100 and NEO985A
  • applicable in the anode loop of a fuel cell
